But Congressman still believes Biden did better than Obama in debate
1st District Congressman Steve Scalise was unimpressed with Joe Biden's performance in the first and only debate of the Vice Presidential candidates.
"You got Joe Biden sitting over there laughing and flailing his hands and you know, it was just kind of the buffoon that a lot people have seen over the years that has been an embarassment as vice president."
Still, Scalise says he believes Biden outperformed President Obama.
Biden mockingly smiled, wagged his finger and couldn't seem to stop interrupting Paul Ryan. While Democrats cheered Biden's sharp tone, Republicans termed his behavior disrespectful.
The congressman told Denny Schaffer Friday morning that the debate offered viewers a sharp contrast in both policies and personalities.
"You saw who the candidates chose to be their top advisor and I think the difference between Joe Biden's personality and seriousness was very different than what you saw in Paul Ryan."
