Political analyst says education secretary might be the most appropriate cabinet post for Jindal in a Romney administration

Governor Bobby Jindal has repeatedly said, when asked about his political ambitions, that he has the job he wants, that being governor of Louisiana is the best job there is.

Political Analyst Elliott Stonecipher tells 99.5FM he doesn't believe Jindal. He says he believes the governor would accept the "right" cabinet job if he were offered one by Mitt Romney, should Romney win the Presidential election.

"It is difficult to believe that if Mitt Romney offered Bobby Jindal a cabinet position in one of the higher profile positions that he would tell the President-elect no," Stonecipher said.

Stonecipher says education secretary might be the most likely or appropriate cabinet-level position for Jindal.

"He has spent a lot of time in Louisiana building a resume that he believes shows education reform as governor."

In answer to Stonecipher's comments, Jindal said in a prepared statement issued by his office that he would not consider a cabinet post in a Romney administration.
