The Tigers host the Crimson Tide a week from Saturday
LSU may be off this week, but their next opponent, Alabama, is definitely on their minds.
Coach Les Miles was asked his opinion of the 2012 Alabama team Wednesday at the SEC Football Coaches Media Teleconference.
"I think this is a very quality Alabama team, I think it compares with any. They look like Alabama teams that we've played in the past, I promise."
Miles says one thing they'll be working on as they prepare for the Crimson Tide is the passing game.
"We really need to execute the sucker better and continue to coach it and continue to grow it."
But starting QB Zach Mettenberger cannot be blamed for all of the passing woes this season.
"This is his first series of big games in a row. This is the first time he lines up in Tiger Stadium again and again and again. So, there's some growth there."
