"Inside the LSU Program" segments aired Tuesday on ESPN

LSU Coach Les Miles told ESPN Tuesday he's focused on his Tigers and not Alabama in advance of their showdown Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

"Our focus is to correct the things that we can correct, and that's us. If we do that, we'll play well," Miles told ESPN's Jenn Brown.

ESPN spent the day on the LSU campus interviewing players and coaches for its "Inside the Program" segments, which aired Tuesday.

When asked how important is a win on Saturday, Miles replied, "We'd like to take the lead in the (SEC) West. I'm sure that they would like to keep the lead. And that's what we'll play for Saturday night."

Miles was also asked why playing in Tiger Stadium, especially at night, is so special.

"Our football team plays to that place, plays to the emotion that's in that stadium. It's the best place for the Tigers to play."

"The people that fill that stadium are very much attached to our football team, and they are on their feet virtually from the first snap to the last snap."

The game will be nationally televised on CBS, with kickoff at 7:11pm Saturday.
