Goes on IR with injured left toe that will require surgery
Carl Nicks, the former Saint who left New Orleans for Tampa last spring, will miss the rest of the season for the Bucs.
The All-Pro guard has been placed on injured reserve with an injury to his left toe that will require surgery.
Nicks played for the Saints from 2008 to 2011.
He signed a five-year, $47.5 million contract with the Bucs in March and played in the first 7 games this season.
