Incident occurred Wednesday morning on Roger Drive in eastern N.O.
The NOPD says the fatal stabbing of a 38-year-old man in New Orleans East Wednesday morning appears to have been a case of "justifiable homicide."
The man was stabbed in the leg by his wife during an argument at their home in the 10900 block of Roger Drive shortly after 8AM.
Investigators say the verbal dispute escalated into a physical confrontation.
Police say the man collapsed and died on the street.
The NOPD says the District Attorney's Office has been consulted and the case has been classified as a justifiable homicide.
