The Saints' hated division rival is unbeaten this season
The (3-5) Saints don't have much time to revel in the win over the Eagles Monday night, as they have a short week to prepare for their next opponent, the undefeated, division-rival Atlanta Falcons.
"They're a talented, well coached football team that's on a roll, that obviously knows how to win, can win tight games," said Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt at his weekly press conference Tuesday.
Vitt noted the longstanding rivalry between the two teams.
"It's always been a hard fought contest. Both teams have great pride, but they are the better team so far this year."
The Saints host the Falcons Sunday at Noon.
