Tigers' next opponent is Mississippi State
LSU Coach Les Miles says his Tigers are hungry for a win after losing a heartbreaker to Alabama last Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
"They have a need to win, and it's a weekly need and it's one that they'll play to Saturday night," Miles said Wednesday during the SEC football coaches weekly media teleconference.
#9 LSU hosts #22 Mississippi State Saturday night at 6pm.
Miles says his players are looking forward to playing the Bulldogs.
"We're fortunate that it's a very quality opponent beyond the Alabama game because our team needs to play a team that has ability."
LSU has three regular season games left to play: Mississippi State on Saturday, Nov. 10, Ole Miss on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Arkansas on Friday, Nov. 23.
