Bicyclist reportedly was robbed by occupants of the car that struck him
A 35-year old man on a bicycle reportedly was struck by a vehicle Uptown on Friday afternoon and then robbed by the occupants of the car.
The Uptown Messenger reports that the hit, rob and run occurred just before 4PM near the intersection of Chestnut and General Taylor Streets.
After being struck by the car, the occupants jumped out and robbed him.
A female passenger reportedly demanded his property at gun point. The driver then went through his pockets.
The hoodlums made off with the man's wallet, cash and a cell phone.
