31-year-old man shot in knee during apparent robbery at a closed business
New Orleans Police say a 31-year-old man was shot in the knee in an apparent armed robbery at a business in the 400 block of Bourbon Street shortly after 6am Monday.
Police say the gunshot wound is not believed to be life threatening.
Police say in a news release that a suspect entered the closed business, struck a male employee with a gun, shot him, robbed the business and then fled.
No further information has been released.
