23-year-old had been sought in murder of ex-girlfriend
Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputies and federal agents have nabbed a fugitive from Pennsylvania in Marrero.
23-year-old Jonathan Beal of Meyersdale, PA was being sought on a charge of murder in the slaying of an ex-girlfriend who disappeared September 14th.
Acting on intelligence information, Beal was taken into custody around 6AM Wednesday at the residence of a friend in the 800 block of Avenue F in Marrero.
The JPSO says he was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center pending extradition.
