Talking The New Orleans Sewer System

With rates scheduled to increase soon, the superintendent of the S&WB will discuss plans Jan. 10th

Joseph Becker, superintendent of the Sewerage & Water Board, will talk about the agency's plans for dealing with New Orleans' antiquated sewer system at a forum set Jan. 10.

The session is sponsored by the watchdog group Bureau of Governmental Research.

It will take place at 8 a.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in downtown New Orleans. It's free and open to the public, but a reservation is required. To RSVP, call 504-525-4152, Ext. 108.
