Shooting followed a parade on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
New Orleans police have arrested a teenage suspect in a quintuple shooting that followed a parade on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Times-Picayune reports that the 15-year-old was booked into jail Friday on five counts of aggravated battery.
Five people were wounded in Monday's drive-by shooting, but none of their injuries was considered life-threatening. Police believe other people were in the car with the suspect when he allegedly opened fire.
Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas says the shooting, which occurred roughly 30 minutes after the parade passed, stemmed from a feud between the suspect and at least one of the victims.
