Coach Jim Harbaugh says team is "focused on winning"

The San Franciscio 49ers have checked into the downtown Marriott Hotel for Super Bowl week and coach Jim Harbaugh says his team is "focused on winning."

"I think it's the best focus on unity and winning that I've ever seen and been a part of," Harbaugh said at a news conference following the team's arrival in New Orleans Sunday evening.

The 49ers are 5-0 in Super Bowl games, and although the franchise has what Harbaugh termed "a tremendous history," he said "this is new business and our team is focused on winning a championship."

Harbaugh dealt with a series of questions about his decision to install Colin Kaepernick as his quarterback.  He repeated earlier statements that the move was based on "what we thought was best for the team, what we thought would give us the best chance."

The 49ers will be working out this week at the headquarters of the Saints in Metaire while the Baltimore Ravens will practice at Tulane University.

The Ravens, led by Harbaugh's brother John, are scheduled to arrive in New Orleans around 4 o'clock this afternoon.
