Residents are ecnouraged to offer tips on restaurants, activities
Mayor Mitch Landrieu is asking locals to take to Twitter to offer tips to Super Bowl visitors on the best the city has to offer.
"Locals know their city best," Landrieu said.
"There are a number of restaurants and fun activities in the city of New Orleans that might not always be publicized. Lets make sure visitors get the best variety we can offer."
But you may not wish to share information about a restaurant you plan to visit over the next week.
Locals are encouraged to tweet their favorite hot spots using the hashtag #BestOfNOLA. Those in town for the big game will be encouraged to follow the hashtag for the insider tips.
