Courtyard Marriott in Houma reporting full occupancy for Super Bowl weekend
Hotels in nearby cities are reporting success in attracting Super Bowl visitors who can't find rooms in New Orleans or who don't want to pay the high rates.
The Courtyard Marriott in Houma is reporting full occupancy for Super Bowl weekend.
"We are full this weekend with Super Bowl visitors as well as regular guests," says Richard Hendrix, general manager of the hotel.
Carnival is also keeping the hotel busy.
"On Friday, we're busy with people here for the Hercules parade that we have on Friday night," Hendrix said.
