Tchoupitoulas Street off-ramp from bridge will be closed 8 hours per day
The state Department of Transportation and Development has announced more Super Bowl-related traffic restrictions.
The Tchoupitoulas Street off-ramp from the Crescent City Connection on US 90 Business will be restricted from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m., daily, through Sunday, February 3, to accommodate special events in the area of the convention center.
All ramp traffic will be forced to turn right and use Tchoupitoulas in the upriver directions. Traffic coming off the bridge will not be allowed to turn left onto Tchoupitoulas or go straight onto riverbound Calliope Street, except during the hours of 6 a.m. to 10 a.m daily.
Also closed, is a portion of Annunciation Street at Calliope. Traffic will be forced to turn right at Calliope to accomodate events around the Convention Center.
Traffic approaching on river bound Calliope will be forced to turn right at Annunication.
