Two men found shot to death in apartment on Edenborn Avenue
Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputies are investigating a double shooting at an apartment in the 2200 block of Edenborn Avenue.
The bodies of the victims, 26-year-old Morris Williams and 22-year-old Akeem Boudreaux, were found around 2PM Thursday by a woman who called 9-1-1.
Friends who went to the apartment to check on the welfare of the two told the Times-Picayune they spotted one body in a hallway. Deputies later found the other body in a bedroom.
The two men lived together as a couple and reportedly had been together for several years.
An examination conducted by the Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office revealed that both men had been shot. Autopsies will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
