34-year-old victim was shot in the head
St. John Parish Sheriff's deputies are investigating the murder of a Reserve man.
34-year-old Anthony Young was found shot to death late Wednesday night in the 100 block of East 24th Street in Reserve. He had suffered a wound to the head.
The body was discovered shortly after 11PM as deputies responded to a report of gunfire being heard in the neighborhood.
The Sheriff's Office has released no additional information about the shooting except to say that the investigation is ongoing and that any person with information should contact Crimestoppers.
