The dogs were found in separate shelters
State police are investigating how two K-9s went missing for a time on Tuesday.
They reported disappeared from a trooper's home in the Bent Tree area in Marrero sometime after he left home around 6AM. The trooper found their kennels empty when he returned home,
The question is, "Who let the dogs out?" Investigators believe the dogs were released by somebody.
The two Belgian Malinois dogs were found in shelters Tuesday night.
Troopers say a dog named Luke was found at a nearby SPCA shelter. A short time later, a dog named Bruno was found at the PAWS shelter in Belle Chasse.
Both were unharmed.
