15-year-old charged with one count of negligent injuring
An 11-year-old New Orleans boy was accidentally shot in the leg Thursday night by his older brother.
The incident occurred just after 7PM at a home in the 2700 block of Onzaga Street.
Police say the victim and his 15-year-old brother were playing with a loaded pistol when the gun went off.
The older boy has been charged with a single count of negligent injuring.
Their grandfather told Fox 8 he has no idea how the two came into possession of the pistol.
