26-year-old Terrilynn Monette hasn't been seen since Saturday morning

Friends and family of a missing Harvey school teacher will begin a search in Lakeview today for the young woman who was last seen early Saturday morning at Parlay's bar on Harrison Avenue.

There has been no sign of 26-year-old Terrilynn Monette since she walked out the bar and into a parking lot around 4am.  A witness has told investigators he saw her talking with an unidentified man near her car, a black 2012 two-door Honda Accord.

On Wednesday night, about 100 friends, family and co-workers at the Woodland West Elementary School gathered at the Church of Abundant Life in Harvey for a prayer vigil.  Some of her second-grade students attended and those who couldn't, sent notes expressing their hope for her safe return.

As he led those assembled in prayer, Pastor Sean Fox said "Lord, only you know where Terrilynn is.  Lord, I pray your hand is upon her."

The Terrilynn Monette Fund, has been set up at Regions Bank to help cover the expenses of Monette's family during their stay in New Orleans.
