26-year-old LaPlace man found shot to death Friday
Homocide detectives are searching for clues in the sixth homicide of 2013 in St. John Parish.
The body of 26-year-old Jeremy Diggs was found Friday afternoon at a residence in the 400 block of Captain G. Bourgeois Street in LaPlace.
Diggs had been reported missing by his mother on Thursday. She told police she had not heard from her son since Sunday and that several people told her that her son had been killed.
Investigators say Diggs died from a gunshot wound but were not immediately able to estimate the time of his death.
