Incident occurred Saturday night in 2100 block of Caddy Drive
Two men were shot to death and a third was critically injured late Saturday night in a shooting incident in Marrero.
Responding to reports of gunfire, deputies found the victims in the 2100 hundred block of Caddy Drive shortly before 8PM.
Two of the men were inside a Nissan Sentra. The driver was dead behind the wheel and a passenger, 26-year-old Michael Johnson of Marrero, was rushed to University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
The third victim was found dead in the front yard of a residence on Caddy Drive.
Killed in the incident were 23-year-old Terrance Brown and 24-year-old Dwight Hansberry, both of Marrero.
The JPSO reports that bullets shattered two rear windows of the car and that several .45 caliber bullet casings were found on the street. Investigators were trying to determine whether the shots were fired from another car or by somebody who walked up to the Sentra and opened fire.
