No injuries were reported among the school children on the bus, police say
New Orleans police say an accident between a school bus and a SUV injured the driver of the SUV, but there were no reports of injuries among the school children on the bus.
The accident happened shortly before 8am near the intersection of Paris Avenue and Pleasure Street in Gentilly.
The driver of the SUV was transported to an area hospital. It's not clear the extent of her injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
