Police talk man dressed in hospital gown into coming down from construction crane he had climbed
A New Orleans Police spokesman says NOPD negotiators were able to talk a 46-year-old man into coming down from a crane he had climbed at the site of the medical center under construction at Tulane and S. Johnson.
Officer Frank Robertson said Monday the man, who was unarmed, was dressed in a hospital gown and pants.
The name of the man has not been released.
Robertson says the man will be taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
