19-year-old Tyron Harden was booked with the murders of two people, including a 5-year-old girl
New Orleans police have arrested a second suspect in a shooting last year that killed two people, including a 5-year-old girl at a birthday party.
Police say 19-year-old Tyron Harden was booked Monday on two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 5-year-old Brianna Allen and 33-year-old Shawanna Pierce.
Three others were wounded in the May 29, 2012, shootings.
Another suspect, 18-year-old Leo Riles, was arrested the day after the shootings.
Harden, Riles and a third gunman who hasn't been identified allegedly opened fire on a crowd gathered outside a home for a 10-year-old boy's birthday party. Police said Pierce was killed by a stray bullet while driving about a block from the party.
Police say investigators seized a handgun when they searched Harden's New Orleans home Monday.
