The two men are accused of burglarizing a doctor's office and several vehicles in Slidell
Two Slidell men have been arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a doctor's office and several vehicles in Slidell.
A release issued by the Slidell Police Department Thursday credits the arrests of 24 year old Jackson Fowler and 26 year old Brandon Douglas to a combination of social media, proactive citizens and home surveillance video.
"They (the community) were proactive in not only helping us with video surveillance, they also helped identify one of these individuals that led to these arrests on social media," says Slidell Police Chief Randy Smith.
Fowler and Douglas have been charged with 15 counts of simple burglary and two counts of theft of a firearm.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
