SXSW is always better when Jay-Z is on the bill. For the second year in a row, Hov is set to perform during the Austin, Texas music festival, and this time the show will be broadcast on the 'Net. The Amex Sync Show teams Jay with American Express for a showcase, which will air live from Austin City Limits next Monday (March 12). Last year Jay-Z surprised fans at SXSW by joining Kanye West onstage, but for now it seems that the performance will find Blue Ivy's dad rolling solo.

The concert is helping to launch the Amex interactive experience which allows customers to link their American Express cards to their Twitter accounts. Through the use of special hashtags, card carriers can access offers and discounts for retailers like Best Buy, McDonald's Whole Food Market, and Zappos.com.

During the live-stream the card company will open up additional offers, and fans will be allowed to tweet song requests to Jay plus unlock a digital concert poster. While in Austin, cardmembers are offered dibs on a chance to attend the show with a guest, so long as they are both SXSW badge holders. Those unable to make it inside, can watch the stream via a digital billboard on the corner of 6th Street and Red River, in Austin.

The Amex Sync Show will be broadcast at YouTube.com/AmericanExpress as well as on VEVO's mobile and tablet sites. An encore on-demand broadcast will be available from March 13-19 on the Amex YouTube and Twitter pages, as well as through XBox Live
